Sameer is a fine guy, but has a bad temper and a penchant for getting into trouble. When his girlfriend dumps him, he is heartbroken and relocates to Goa to work as a lifeguard. He falls for his next-door neighbor Rani, but Rani dislikes him because, during a misunderstanding, Sameer had slapped her father, a strict retired Colonel. Matters get worse when Sameer's new roommate, Sunny (Akshay Kumar), a lecherous playboy, also lusts after Rani, leading to a zany battle of wits between the two men.
